Project Manager

Franz Lee Architects is looking for a talented and meticulous project manager to join our team. FLA is a Los Angeles based, collaborative practice focused on high-end residential and commercial projects.   • Professional degree in architecture

  • Prior project management experience

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe CS

  • Revit proficiency desired

  • Strong organizational and managerial skills

  • Good understanding of building materials and systems

  • Experience piloting power tools

Job Description

The Project Manager is responsible for the guidance of projects from
pre-design/concept through construction completion.

  • Pre-design including contract review, programming, code analysis and agency coordination

  • Concept development

  • Coordination with internal project team and consultants

  • Project organization, including ability to track files, drawings, and correspondence

  • Organization of drawing packages throughout design, development, bidding and construction

  • Material/product research

  • Coordination of plan check corrections

  • Bidding/negotiation support

  • Shop drawing/submittal review

  • Keen observation of construction progress and production of field observation reports

  • Punch list and project closeout
